Fall Recreation Soccer ... Register Now ! [ 6/24 ]
For any soccer program the most important aspect is the start kids make in the sport. It does not matter if that start is at four or a later age. At Strikers we have the advantage of a purpose built center that encourages touches of the soccer ball.
For Fall 2009 we shall continue to improve our coaching input. Coaches will be provided with an age appropriate practice schedule. Our full time Directors of Coaching will be on hand to add guidance. We have a new Director of Coaching for girls who will concentrate on the girls in the program and who will hold girls only clinics during the season.
A happy atmosphere with the correct level of coaching will help your child love soccer.
Our Fall league will have one practice (usually at 5.30 or 6.30) during the week and a game on Saturdays. Games start at the young age group at 9.00am and progress thro the age groups during the day. Our GIRLS ONLY sections play around midday. Time and day of midweek practice is decided at the first day of practice on 22nd August. Please register early . We can accept late sign ups but certain age groups will fill up. This is a recreational league so NO tryout is necessary.

Pre-Challenge League ! [ 5/01 ]
This is our first step up from our recreational soccer. From the start the program has helped kids that are serious in soccer to move up to the competitive Challenge and classic levels. The games are on our big field. The Fall 2009 tryouts are over but we do have a few spaces left.
If you wish your child to be considered for FALL 2009 please contact Andrew Steedman at 704 948 6697 (or express your interest at the office front desk).
New Competitive Soccer Program for 2009/10 ! [ 4/29 ]
For the past 5 years Andrew and I have provided a platform for kids in our program to join a local club that competes in City and State wide competitions. It has grown from 3 teams to 25 teams . The teams have enjoyed fantastic success both in team results and development of individual skills. It is satisfying to see the joy on the faces of kids that soccer can bring. These teams are open to allcomers and over the years have attracted many new players.
For the 2009/10 season and the forseeable future we will be part of, working with, and supporting FCCA a well established North Carolina Youth Soccer Association club.

This new arrangement will provide exposure for your soccer player to a pathway right up to College age. Several local college coaches will be active in coaching teams and holding skills sessions. Links to further details on personnel plus how to tryout for these teams will appear here within a few days. LOCAL GAME and PRACTICE fields that will be used will include North Meck Park and Chesterbrook Academy (Huntersville) plus practices at Strikers.
