2006/07 Season Acheivements:
Excellent league season for our teams. We fielded 9 Challenge and 2 Classic teams. The Challenge teams performed well against local clubs. Special mention to our U11 Girls who finished with 100% in Gold division. Our U9 Girls team finished unbeaten in their first season. The two U9 boys teams also played to a very high level for their first seasons. Our classic teams had great seasons in our first venture against statewide clubs.
As usual the teams finished off the season by competing in tournaments. Over course of the season, we won 8 championships and finished beaten finalists in 4 more.
2007 Jeff Gordon Seaside Classic, Wilmington, NC
Strikers is proud of the performance of ALL the teams that participated in the 2007 Seaside Classic tournament in Wilmington. Our teams competed at a very high level, winning (and losing) with pride and respect for themselves and the opposition.
